at the Salon Institute campus of your choice

Please bring the following documents to your appointment:

  • Copy of a driver’s license 
  • Copy of a social security card or birth certificate
  • Copy of a high school diploma/transcripts or GED 

We ask that applicants attend their in-person application appointment in professional dress with hair and makeup complete. This shows dedication to the Salon Institute and a desire to present oneself as a future professional beauty consultant. 

The $50 application fee (non-refundable) is due at the time of application. The applicant will submit all documents; take the basic skills assessment test (scoring a minimum score of 16); and meet with an Institute administrator. After the application, the administration will notify the prospective student of acceptance either in person, via mail, e-mail or by telephone.

Enrollment
Process

Each individual application and enrollment process may take its own time frame. An applicant may be prepared to finish the enrollment process during the same meeting as the application process should they receive immediate notification of acceptance. 

During the enrollment process, the accepted prospective student will identify a start date and complete the enrollment agreement with all other necessary documents. The registration fee of $100 must accompany the enrollment agreement. The $100 registration fee is refundable if a student withdraws in writing within three (3) business days of enrollment. 

All information collected by the Salon Institute and its representatives for the purpose of contacting potential students and/or salon clients will be used strictly for the purposes of out reach regarding Salon Institute educational or salon services as requested by the individual.
